We had an outstanding half-day snorkeling excursion in St. John with Captain Wylie from Salty Daze, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. If you can swing it, a boat day in St. John is an absolute must. We were two families with five kids under six and went back and forth on doing the BVIs, but just couldn’t justify the price.
