    Terms of Service

    Last updated: October 8, 2026

    1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the QuestVI platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

    2. How QuestVI Works, Bookings and Payments

2.1. QuestVI is a discovery and referral service. We list charters and tours run by independent, locally licensed operators. The operator, not QuestVI, provides the trip and is your contracting party for it.

2.2. Most bookings are completed on the operator's own secure FareHarbor checkout. A small number of listings use a QuestVI-hosted checkout processed by Stripe; those requests are confirmed only once the operator or captain approves them.

2.3. QuestVI does not charge travelers a fee or add a markup. You pay the operator's published rate. QuestVI is paid a referral commission by the operator, which does not change your price.

2.4. FareHarbor checkouts include FareHarbor's standard booking and card-processing fee (about 7%), shown before you pay. This is the same fee you would pay booking on the operator's own website.

2.5. Payment timing (full payment or deposit), taxes, gratuities, and any third-party charges such as BVI customs or park fees are set by the operator and shown at checkout or in the listing. Prices are in US Dollars.

2.6. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the operator. Listing details are provided in good faith but may change; the operator's checkout and confirmation are the final reference.

    3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. Each operator sets its own cancellation, weather, and refund policy. The policy that applies to your booking is shown on the operator's checkout and in your confirmation.

3.2. Refunds are issued by the operator (or through Stripe for QuestVI-hosted checkouts) under that policy. To cancel or change a booking, contact the operator using the details in your confirmation.

3.3. QuestVI's free concierge can help you reach an operator or understand a policy, but cannot override an operator's decision.

    4. Charter Operations

4.1. All charters are operated by independent charter companies or individuals who are fully licensed and insured.

4.2. The captain has full authority over the vessel and all passengers. The captain's decisions regarding safety, route, and operations are final.

4.3. Charter operators reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior poses a safety risk.

4.4. Charter itineraries may be modified at the captain's discretion due to weather conditions, sea state, or other safety considerations.

    5. Safety and Responsibility

5.1. All passengers must adhere to safety instructions provided by the captain and crew.

5.2. Children under 12 must wear life jackets at all times while on board, as required by law.

5.3. Passengers participate in water activities at their own risk.

5.4. QuestVI and charter operators are not responsible for personal items lost, damaged, or left behind on charters.

    6. Privacy Policy

Your use of QuestVI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

    7. Modifications to Terms

QuestVI reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
